Cursing the very breath you take

That disrupts the sweet night song,

Blessed be thy creatures who dare not show their faces.

Their tranquil peaceful lullabys

sung out in the dark,

reaching their melodies to the sky

whose melodies need not be seen,

what cannot be seen is instead felt deep

flowing through the cool night air,

A scent all their own.

shunning the daylight blossom

that forces them to cover,

to sing in daylight

such love would kill,

not ment for mortals with such weak souls

instead a taste is given when nightshade becons,

The world is more alive when it is black.

only fools open their eyes to see a gift that can only be felt.

the contented daylight dweller,

instead sings back,

adding their own flavor to the late night chorus of life,

that echoes amongst the giants.
